To read old messages you need to log in to Yahoo and use the feature Messenger Archive to read! Currently Yahoo was acquired (by Verizon for $4.8 billion) and you need Yahoo login to re-read old messages.
Messenger Archive feature
After you click on the link above you will be surprised when you get it Review the entire Yahoo message history from before 2000 to present still need to save prints through the feature Messenger Archive, Of course you need to Yahoo account login Only you can access it. To be see Yahoo Chat messages between two people you have to drag upwards and select Show more Messenger…. (Right ear frame) and each time show more messenger then it only loads back a short !
So to find all the messages we will take a lot of time.

Step 1: You visit https://messenger.yahoo.com/archive and sign in to your Yahoo account.
Step 2: You choose 1 friend that you want to see the message in the left hand column.
Step 3: Friend press the F12 key and choose TAB Console
Step 4: You Copy the line of code below and paste into the Console Tab and Enter

Step 5: Wait a few seconds until few minutes (Depending on the level of fathert with that person is long or short) and the code will do the task of loading the message for you!
