A sign that a tab is about to be suspended is that you will notice that it is more difficult to browse the content in that tab than before (the mouse can’t eat, can’t scroll, …). In some cases where the tab is suspended, you can close it in the usual way, but most of the time when the tabs on Chrome hang, you can’t turn it off but have to wait for Chrome to process and detect the error on that tab. can be closed, or another way is more ferocious… turn off Chrome. However, there is still a way for you to close a hanging tab in Chrome when the close tab button is not active. This method is similar to Task Manager on Windows.
You can take advantage of the Task Manager feature on Chrome to turn them off. You press the button Setting (3 tile button) -> Other tools -> The task manager (or use the key combination Shift+Esc) to open Chrome’s Task Manager window.
After the Task Manager window appears, you will see Chrome displaying tabs as separate tasks, select the tab that is suspended and then click End process (Similar to End Task on Windows Task Manager). When you do this you will see that the tab is not closed but the page will stop loading and you will see the message “Error! An error occurred. Please try again later“(or “He’s died, Jim” if you use English), you can reload that tab normally.
