Things to know to learn Javascript faster
These are the ideas I learned from my field trip at FPT School of Information Technology. This is also a tip to learn well any programming language, not just Javascript. I will write down the basic tips for you to apply first. I will dedicate one more article to writing about the rest of the tips.
Let’s study with friends.
This is one of the important reasons of learning. Do you know why ? Because friends are the best spiritual medicine. Studying alone is boring, but learning with it is not. Friends studying together will be the motivation for each other to try.
Everyone’s brain structure is different. Therefore, some issues are difficult for you to understand but your friends understand quickly. Because their brain is sensitive to that case. Therefore, learning together and teaching and helping each other will be faster than learning alone. This is scientifically proven!
Go fix someone else’s code.
When there is an assignment or a project together. Try to help your friends solve the error of the code. Every time you find a bug in the code, it forces your brain to run the test code in your head. Therefore, fixing code errors for people is also a good condition for your brain to get used to the code more.
Learn to code, learn the structure and meaning, don’t learn the letters
I say that because I have studied. I used to remember the word like: “When you need to do something, use a function”. But learning like that, I often forget. Honestly, it’s really easy to forget.
So I tried to find another more effective way of learning. It is learning its structure. I remember in my mind that actions are usually enclosed in brackets {} and attached to those brackets is function() {}. Is it easier to remember than the above method?
Time is a measure of proficiency
As for programming, the more you code, the better you will be. It is said that if you want to master a certain field, you need to go through 10,000 hours of hard work. Therefore, the level is different depending on the time spent to code.
This is also the answer to the fact that you cannot learn all the programming languages. Your lifespan is 100 years. And to master each language you take 10,000 hours of hard work. So it is impossible for you to want to be good at all programming languages.
