If you’re wondering about the authenticity of the Windows 11 leak, it’s time to stop. Microsoft is issuing DMCA takedown notices to websites hosting leaked Windows 11 ISOs, forcing those hosting the new operating system to remove it or face dire consequences.

The fact that Microsoft is directly dealing with the leaked Windows 11 ISO file almost certainly confirms that this is the real deal, albeit in an unfinished format, prior to release.
What is DMCA?
The DMCA, or Digital Millennium Copyright Act, protects creative works on the internet and has a legal foundation for managing rights to digital works. It includes things like articles, videos and photos, documents.
The DMCA provides copyright owners with a simple and straightforward way to remove their content from sites that are not authorized to use it. They can do this by sending a DMCA takedown notice to the carrier hosting the infringing content. By law, carriers are required to abide by the notice as long as it meets certain standards.
Confirmed: Windows 11 leak is real
Microsoft has issued a notice forcing India’s Beebom technology to remove the leaked Windows 11 sharing article under the DMCA. The content of the DMCA complaint alleges:
Beebom.com’s article is providing Windows 11 ISO (copyrighted by Microsoft). Please remove their posts from search. It is a leaked copy of unreleased Windows 11.
The official DMCA notice asks the hosting site to remove the offending content or face the article (not the entire site) being removed from Google search results.
Websites that report on Windows 11 leaks will not be affected by this announcement from Microsoft — but websites hosting leaked Windows 11 ISOs are at risk of being sued. Currently, there is no official list of websites that have received Windows 11 ISO File removal notices.
However, it is currently impossible to enumerate how many Websites are hosting and sharing ISO files to install Windows 11. Not to mention the fact that users share via a peer-to-peer Torrent network.
In fact, it is surprising that Microsoft has been slow to respond to the release of Windows 11 leaks, since it is clearly not the complete version. Indeed, a lot of information about Windows 11 looking like Windows 10 could be another reason why Microsoft wants to remove it from the sites that are infringing.
Everything will be clear on the June 24 Microsoft Conference
After researching about the Windows 11 leak, I firmly believe that the Windows 11 leak is real. The login screen, the Windows specs screen, and the data bits can all confirm this is the real version.
However, many people believe that the Windows 11 leak is a fake. Or, if it’s not fake, it’s Microsoft trying to improve the new operating system. We will have the answer to this operating system during Microsoft’s big event on June 24, 2021, which many believe is the big reveal.
