Facebook Stories (Facebook Stories) are short-lived, user-generated collections of photos and videos that can be viewed up to twice and disappear after 24 hours. Facebook Stories do not appear in the Timeline or News Feed but have a separate space at the top of the interface. By default, Facebook only allows posting Stories for about 20 seconds. But recently the author Nguyen Anh Nhan launched the Story Uploader Extension so you can post Facebook Stories with no time limit.

Facebook Stories feature centered around the camera in Facebook’s app, allowing users to overlay cool filters and Snapchat-like lenses into their content and add visual geolocation tags to their photos and videos. To access the camera, simply swipe right on Facebook’s mobile app.
However, in order to post a Video on Facebook Story for more than 20 seconds, you have to post it on Facebook first to get the ID, then use the video ID to post to Story. How to follow the instructions of author Nguyen Anh Nhan as follows:
Install Extension Story Uploader
Download Extenstion Story Uploader
Extract the downloaded file to a folder on Desktop
You open Google Chrome, go to Settings -> More Tools -> Extensions
Turn on developer mode in the upper right corner
Below will appear the Menu, you click on Download the unzipped utility
Select the extracted folder in Desktop click Select Folder
If you see the Extension bar appear Story Uploader icon then you have successfully installed.
Post Videos to Story Facebook with no time limit
Step 1: Post Video on your wall.
To use the Story Uploader Extension, you need to post a Video that you want to post to Story on your wall first. In my opinion, it should be set to “Only me” mode so that people do not know about the video content.
Step 2: Get Video ID
Afterward get Video’s ID Just posted on the wall by going to Video to watch. The sequence of numbers behind the Video link is the ID of that Video.
Step 3: Post Long Videos to Story Facebook
– Go to your personal Facebook page (Your Facebook Wall)
– Click on Story Uploader extension and enter Video ID
– Click on the white area, wait for the border to change green then press the button Post is OK.
You have now successfully posted a Long Timed Video to Story without the half-second 20 second limit.
Go to the Facebook homepage to check your Story and see if the video is successful.
