If you use the Gmail app on your iPhone, iPad, or Android phone, you can’t delete all of your email at once on your device. You can just use the Gmail website to do this.
Also, deleting all emails doesn’t delete your Gmail account. You can still send and receive email after you’ve deleted all of your existing emails.
How to delete all emails in Gmail at once
To start deleting your Gmail emails, first open a web browser on your computer and go to Gmail. Sign in to your Gmail account on the website.
Tip: If you’re not sure if you want to delete all emails or want to restore them in the future, you can download all emails to your computer. here.
In the menu on the left, click “All Mail”. If you don’t see this option, click “More” to show more options.
In the menu on the right, you’ll see all your Gmail emails, including your archived ones. To delete these emails, you will have to first select all the emails by clicking on the “Select” option (square icon).
Gmail will select all emails displayed on the current page. To select emails that are not on this page, click the “Select All X Conversations in All Mail” button, where “X” is the number of emails in the “All Mail” folder.
All your emails are now selected. To delete them, click on the “Delete” option (trash can icon).
Next, click “OK”.
Gmail will start deleting and moving your email to the Trash folder. To delete your emails completely, you will have to clean up the Trash. To do so, in the left menu of Gmail, click on the “Trash” folder.
In the menu on the right, at the top, click “Empty Trash Now”.
Under “Confirm Deleting Messages”, click “OK”.
And all your emails except those in the “Spam” folder are now deleted.
To delete spam emails, in the left menu of Gmail, click “Spam”. Then, in the right menu, click “Delete All Spam Messages Now”.
So that’s it then. Your Gmail account is now cleaned of email.
