first) To configure Start Screen in Windows 8.1, go to Desktop -> Select Properties in the Taskbar.

2) Go to the Navigation tab –> Stick to the option ” Go to the desktop instead of Start when I sign in”. This option allows direct access to the Desktop environment when you start the computer.
- “Show my desktop background on Start” : Allows you to take the desktop background as the Start screen background.
- “Show the app view automatically when I go to Start” : automatically lists the list of applications when you enter the Start interface” (To return to Start, press the left arrow below”
Note: when you right-click to select an App, the system also allows you to set it“Name Group”.
