If you protect the Excel file, users cannot insert, delete, rename, move, copy, hide or show the sheet.
How to password protect Excel files
1. Open the workbook.
2. On the Review tab, in the Protect group, click Protect Workbook.
3. Select Structure, enter the password and click OK.
4. Re-enter the password and click OK.
The user cannot insert, delete, rename, move, copy, hide or show the sheet.
Note: to unprotect the workbook, click Protect Workbook and enter the password.
