Why should you change the default search engine on Edge?
Microsoft Edge is the default web browser that uses Bing as its search engine, developed by Microsoft and they have equipped Bing with many features and utilities to compete with Google. No one can confirm that Bing will surpass Google in the near future, but it cannot be denied that Bing also has all the advantages that Google possesses.
Statistics on all platforms (mobile, tablet, desktop) as of June 2023 globally, excluding China, show that Google Search accounts for 90.7% of the market share in the search engine market. In the “Other” category, the largest engine is South Korea’s Naver with 0.48% market share.

However, most search engine algorithms rely on past user data to inform their current algorithm version. Google, with a market share 5 to 6 times larger than Bing, has a lot more data to analyze and use for its algorithms.
This means that even if Bing uses the same algorithms as Google, their search results are still worse because they have less data. Therefore, the results when I search with Bing are still not as good as Google. It is only suitable for English, but Vietnamese at the moment is not very accurate.
