How to Active Office when Update Windows 10 ver 1803

After Update Windows version 1803license Office Active by Phone will be lost. Do Windows Update will remove the license in System32. So When Windows Update is done, restarting will lose the license of Office. Currently, the keys active by phone shared on the network are very rare, and very difficult to activate. So you only have 3 ways below to activate office if you want to have a copyright:

Method 1: Buy a copyrighted Office key to use

Method 2: Use KSM Active (6 months license)

Step 1: You open CMD with Admin rights.

Step 2: Copy the active KMS Office code into CMD and Enter.

Step 3: Open Office up File–>Account to check the results.

Method 3: Copy the SPP folder in Windows.old

If after Update, in the drive OLD do you still keep the folder Windows.old then follow these steps:

Step 1: Open CMD with Admin rights, type command net stop sppsvc

Step 2: Please copy the folder spp in the path C:\Windows.old\Windows\System32

Step 3: Then paste over the folder spp in the path C:\Windows\System32

If there are some files that can’t be overwritten, just press to Skip ignore those files.

Step 4: Go back to CMD and type command net start sppsv

Step 5: Now open Office and check the results again.

How to check Office is Active in any way?

Currently, there are 3 types of keys for Active Office: Key Retail, Key Mak, and KMS. To check if your Office has been activated with any key, and the status is Active or not. You follow the steps below:

Step 1: Open CMD with Admin rights

Copy the following command corresponding to each type of Office:

Office 2016

Type command: cd C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16

Office 2013

Type command: cd C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15

Office 2010

Type command: cd C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14

Continue typing the command below:

cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus
