You can hunt a chicken and cook it in the fire while camping with your teammates. Furthermore, the survival mode also introduces Drones in the game. Collect twigs, but don’t hoard much
First thing, don’t hesitate to pick up branches. To survive the deadly blizzard every few minutes, you have to light a fire. So it’s better to collect some branches and ask your teammates to do the same.
Normally you will be given 10 branches, however, I recommend making it 5. That’s because 5 branches, per team member, is more than enough to light a fire during a blizzard. What’s more, they’re easily available in every building, so finding more is never a problem. In fact, hoarding too many branches will take up too much space in your backpack, which could be used for other important things.
Items to keep you warm
There are two items to help keep you warm in mode Cold Front Survival. Firstly, there are thermal bags and AnonyViet cannot emphasize enough how important warm bags are to winning the game. During a storm, heat packs keep you safe for about 30 seconds. So, assuming for some reason you’re in a place where you can’t find a house to light a campfire, the best you can do is use a hot pack. This will give you enough time to seek refuge.
Monday is a heater, which acts like a defense mechanism. Instead of giving you resistance to cold for a few seconds, the heater will bring your temperature back to normal, thus giving you a chance to heal yourself.
Also, while you focus on hot packs and heaters, don’t forget to collect other items like thermal suits, pain relievers, energy drinks, etc… That’s because you’ll need to restore health quite often in mode Cold Front Survival, especially when you start to lose strength due to freezing temperatures. Remember that hot packs only warm your body and don’t heal your health.
When it snows, use a snowboard
The option of skiing in the snow was available in Vikendi even before the arctic mode. You basically get a skiing option at area to the right of the screen as soon as you set foot in the snow. In mode Cold Front Survival by Pubg Mobile, you must maintain speed. You can’t get through a blizzard by running. So the best option is to always use a snowboard on the snow. As a skill, doing that will prevent you from getting shot.
Make chicken to keep warm
There’s nothing wrong with being a vegetarian in real life. However, if you are playing arctic mode in PUBG Mobile, then you will have to kill the chickens scattered across the map. Then you can cook a chicken in a campfire and eat it to gain immunity against the cold. The protection only lasts for a few seconds, just like with heating items. Lighting the fire will reveal the location of the enemy team
When you start to light a fire in a blizzard, you know that enemy squads are doing the same. Interestingly, on the map you can see the exact location of all the fires; so you will spot the enemy. That being said, you can do a lot more than spotting enemies with a drone. For example, you can make a car fly using two or more drones. Drones can also be used as explosives.
But using a drone is not as simple as it sounds, so it is essential that you use your drone by following these steps.
- Launch the drone at a safe spot: Remember that both your hands are occupied when you control the drone. So its better to launch the drone from a safe place to keep it safe from enemies and snipers. For instance, don’t launch a drone while you’re outdoors on a balcony or on a roof. Instead, launch it while you’re inside a house or while hiding in a bush.
- Insurance claim:It’s always good to ask one of your teammates to protect you even when you launch the drone from a safe place. If the enemy is behind you, then you won’t even know when they hit you. So it’s better to have a backup.
- Drones are not invincible: Drones definitely give you a good edge; however, the enemy can easily spot your drone and destroy them. In addition, enemies can also detect your drone, which will alert them to your attack. So you have to use the drone effectively without being careless.
- Limited power: Drones have limited power, so if you fool with a drone for no reason, it will run out of juice pretty soon. So it is better to use when you are confident that you will find enemies in nearby locations.
- Mark hidden places: With a drone, you can see places that are far from your line of sight. That means during a blizzard, you can use drones to mark a distant place to suggest where your squad will go next.
- Destroy enemies with drones:The most interesting thing about drones is that they can act as a weapon to destroy enemies. Just fly a drone extremely close to the enemy, and you will see them die from the explosion.
- Lifting a car with a drone: If your team has two or more drones, then you can unlock a unique ability, called car delivery. Using this ability, you and your teammates can work together to lift a vehicle with a drone. You can then offload your enemies to surprise them.
