How to delete rows in Excel
1. Select a row.
2. Right-click, then click Delete.

1. Select multiple rows.
2. Press CTRL โ (minus sign). Result:
Delete cell
Excel displays the Delete Cells dialog box if you do not select a row or rows before using the keyboard shortcut CTRL โ (minus sign).
1. Select cell A3.
2. Press CTRL โ (minus sign).
3a. Excel automatically selects โShift cells upโ. Click OK.
