Frequency distribution
First, add the Pivot Table. Next, drag the following fields into different areas.
1. Drag Amount Field over Rows
2. And Amount Filed (or other Field) to Values
3. Click any cell in Sum of Amount
4. Right-click and select Value Field Settings.
5. Select Count and press OK
6. Select any cell in the Row Labels column
7. Right-click and select Group
8 Enter 1 for Starting at, and 10000 for Ending at and 1000 for by
9. Press OK
Result
To easily compare these numbers, create a pivot chart.
10. Click any cell in the Pivot Table
11. On the Analyze tab, select PivotChart.
12. Press OK
