This article will guide you through three functions that round numbers to multiples of x in Excel to be MROUND, CEILING and FLOOR.

Rounding to Multiples in Excel

MROUND

1. For example, round a number to the nearest multiple of 10.

2. For example, round a number to the nearest multiple of 5.

ceiling

Same as MROUND but rounded up.

Floor

Same as MROUND but rounding down.
