The Dating or Secret Crush feature helps you get out of your loneliness by connecting you with other people on Facebook. You will be matched based on what the two of you have in common. Matching suggestions are based on your profile and dating criteria, mutual friends, what you do and share on Facebook. You can discover who you’re dating in your joined events and groups that have any matching suggestions. Then you can choose who to talk to. People can contact you when they have feelings for you and you will decide whether to continue the conversation or not?

How to enable Facebook Dating (Crush Secret)
Currently, Facebook allows older accounts to open the Dating feature. If you have not yet activated the feature, you can wait 1 more time. In my opinion you should additional information about: gender, age (over 18), interests will be given priority.
If you are one of the priority subjects to activate the Dating function, activate it in the following ways:
On Android: you go to Menu 3 dashesscroll down to see the place Dating.
On iOS: If you go to your profile page, look at the top right corner and you will see a picture icon Heart.
Privacy note when using Dating:
- Facebook will not share your dating profile with your friends.
- Your dating profile will be visible to anyone you’re dating.
- But if you become a friend of your crush and your crush has agreed to pair up, or text you, the system will still share your profile with your crush.
- What you change on your dating profile won’t affect your profile on Facebook. When you delete a photo somewhere on Facebook, it’s still there
This. Conversely, when you delete a photo from the Dating app, it still appears everywhere else you’ve shared it.
Before performing pairing, you can choose in the “Edit Privacy Settings”. You can choose to join Secret Crush with Facebook suggestions or through friends of friends. You can also block friends you don’t want to date to avoid distractions.
Declare dating information on Facebook
In the next step, you will declare the basic information for Dating. Facebook will mainly rely on and here to find Crush for you:

Turn on location services on your phone to set a date. You can find Crush in a specific area (like Find Around Zalo). But Facebook won’t automatically update your location for you. You can change your location (where you live) in Dating criteria.
In the section dating profile, you can find the object that you “Crush”, can find up to 10 people. If one of those 10 people also Crush with you, then both will be paired and talk to each other. Let’s try to drop hearing to get out of the FA.
How to Edit Dating Criteria and Delete Facebook Dating Profile
To enter Dating criteriayou select in the upper right corner of the Dating section.
Here you can edit / change the information you want to find your Crush like:
- Sex
- Age
- Dating location
- Distance
- Children
- Religious point of view
In the section Dating criteriayou scroll down near the bottom will see the item Delete profile or Pause pairing. Then you will not be half-paired.
