How to Install Checkra1n on PC Without Mac or Hackintosh

Currently to use Checkra1n you need to have a MAC or install Hackintosh on your PC. However, now there is a way to create a MAC emulator USB so that you can install Checkra1n on the simplest PC. Follow the steps below to install Checkra1n on PC without Mac or Hackintosh.

Checkra1n is a tool that can jailbreak iOS devices (Iphone, Ipad, Ipod) from Chip A12 and below. Currently Checkra1n can jailbreak ios firmware 13.x

Things needed to prepare for the installation:

– 2 USBs (minimum 1 is 8GB, the rest is at least 1GB is redundant). Temporarily call USB with capacity USB 1 and the rest USB 2 )

– Transmac software for Windows (link: https://www.acutesystems.com/tmac/tmsetup.exe)

– Checkra1n installation file (download link)

– Emulator file to be able to install (download link)

– File Frameworks and Dlyibs (download link)

Step 1: Create a MacOS emulator installer on USB

First, you need to create an emulator installer to be able to run files on MacOS. This way, you can install Checkra1n on your PC without having to worry about cumbersome operations like MAC emulation.

Open the software Transmacright click on USB 1 (This USB needs at least 8GB) -> select Restore with Disk Image. This will take a bit of a long wait, when it’s done, you can open the files in the usb with the software. Transmac always (can’t open usb with explorer)

Next, copy the downloaded files in the Frameworks and Dlyibs to the following paths:

– AppleFSCompression.framework

– /System/Library/Frameworks/

– MobileDevice.framework

– /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks

– libcrypto.35.dylib

– libssl.35.dylib

– /usr/lib/

Step 2: Copy Checkra1n installation file to USB 2

Copy the file Cheakra1n just downloaded above to USB 2

Note : This USB must be formatted as FAT32. Immediately after this step, name this USB USB 2 to easily type the following steps.

If anyone does not have USB 2, after creating usb macos, go to This PC, you will see a drive called BOOTLOADER, copy the checkra1n file into it and then run the usb as usual. Change the name of usb 2 in the instructions to BOOTLOADER and you will receive it

Step 3: Boot USB emulator and jailbreak with Checkra1n :

First, please Boot USB 1 install your emulator on your PC (everything is completely automatic). Then attach USB 2 Go to your PC, open Terminal and type the command:

ls /Volumes/ (first letter is OFFER are not Capitalization Please ). This command is used to display the connected peripherals on your PC used to find USB 2.

Next type the command:

hdiutil attach /Volumes/Tên của chiếc USB có chứa checkra1n/checkra1n\ beta\ 0.9.7.dmg

This command helps you mount the Checkra1n file to your PC to run.

The last step is to type the command:

/Volumes/checkra1n/checkra1n.app/Contents/MacOs/checkra1n to launch the Checkra1n jailbreak tools.

Now, it will ask you to connect to a DFU device, please put your device to jailbreak into DFU mode and plug in the PC connection cable and everything is done!
