On LinkedIn, you connect with people by adding them as a ‘connection’, similar to how you would make a friend request on Facebook. You chat via private message (or available contact information) and you have all your professional experience and achievements presented in a neatly organized profile to show off to other users .
LinkedIn is similar to Facebook in terms of layout and feature offering. These features are more specialized because they cater to recruiters and candidates, but overall, if you know how to use Facebook or any other similar social network then LinkedIn has somewhat of an equivalent.
