Over the past few years, Windows 10 has focused on businesses and Microsoft has no longer released updates with interesting features for Windows 10. But in fact, the most features updates are called ‘Creators Update and Fall Creators Update’ were released in 2018.
Windows 10 always develops under the “Windows As A Service” model and Microsoft has no plans to launch Windows 11, but the technology giant is said to be working on a large design update for this operating system.
This October, Microsoft released the last update of the year called ” Windows 10 October 2020 update ”. As you know, version 20h2 is based on the 2004 version (May 2020 update)meaning 20h2 is just a slightly refined version of the first update this year and all are tweaking are related to the Start menu.
It is rumored that the Windows 10 operating system will have big changes, but we still have a few months to witness those changes.
According to reports and references found in previews, Microsoft is currently working on Windows 10 21H1, Windows 10X and Windows 10 21H2 “Sun Valley”.
Windows 10 21H1
Windows 10 version 21h1, also known as the ‘Iron’ update, was originally thought to be the first major update in the spring of 2021, but the plans were reported to change after Microsoft decided to focus on Windows 10X for one-screen devices (single-screen devices).
It is rumored that Microsoft may only release a feature update by 2021 to make room for Windows 10X, a modular version of Windows 10.
If this rumor is correct, we can see Windows 10X in the first half of 2021 and then Windows 10 21H1 / 21H2.
It is also possible that Microsoft will choose to skip the 21H1 feature update and release a update with major improvements to the user interface.
In the last week of October, Microsoft launched its first test from a new branch called ‘Iron’ (Fe), but Microsoft officials are still not ready to reveal whether there will be a Windows 10 publisher on 21H1 or not.
The update of Windows 10 21H1 feature cannot be completely excluded and it can still be released in the first half of 2021 with little or no change, which is the opposite of the current way of releasing the current Windows 10 feature update.
Windows 10 21H2 upgrade “Sun Valley”
With the Windows 10 21H2 update, Microsoft is planning to change the operating system with upgrading the Windows user interface, including Action Center, File Explorer, Taskbar and Start Menu (Waiting for worn out).
In information, Microsoft describes the new user interface as “rebirth” and it is expected to improve the experience of both desktop and tablet mode with “optional features”.
