Chat Bubbles is a Messenger feature built into the Facebook app. You can message with friends right at the Facebook interface without having to open more Messenger. This feature has been around for a long time on Facebook, but was abandoned in 2016, because Facebook wanted to push the Messenger app to users.

But recently, Facebook has started to reuse the Chat Bubble feature. Some random test accounts will be able to use this feature. This article will show you how to enable Chat Bubbles on iPhone and Android.
How to use Chat Bubbles on Facebook 2021
Turn on chat bubbles on iPhone
The chat bubble feature on iPhone is only available in the Facebook application, if you log out of Facebook, the chat bubble does not appear. On iPhone, if you want to chat, you need to go to the Messenger or Facebook application.
To turn on the chat bubble, go to the Settings menu of the Facebook application on your phone. Depending on the account, there will be a menu icon with 3 dashes in the middle or Menu 3 dashes in the right corner.
Next, you choose the function Privacy settings -> Setting
Scroll down a bit to the bottom, find the item Notifications -> Notifications via Messenger.
Here, if your account is in the test to turn on the Facebook Chat Bubble, there will be a line Chat Bubbles under.
In case you don’t have the chat bubble function, try Update to the latest iOS 14.5 and update Facebook to the latest version.
If your iPhone is jailbroken, install the following sources into Cydia:
Then install the tweak named:
- ChatBubbles Messenger
- ChatBubbles Lite
- ChatBubbles SMS
Or you can install tweak PullOver Pro to show the chat feature next to the screen.
Enable chat bubbles on Android
Turn on the chat bubble feature on Android, you can chat anytime on the phone screen whether exiting the application or not, this is a multitasking feature on Android that iPhone does not have. However, only Android 11 currently supports this feature.
Unlike the iPhone you need to install the Messenger app. In the settings of Messenger, you just need to turn on the feature Bubbles go up.
The Bubbles feature will have 3 options:
- All conversations: All incoming messages will appear in a bubble.
- Selected conversations: Only the people you choose will appear bubbles when there is a message.
- Nothing: by default, there will be no bubbles, if you want to chat, go to Messenger to text.
So you can turn on chat bubbles on iPhone and Android, in my opinion this feature is quite convenient, helping to chat right on the screen without having to go to the Messenger application. Please enable this feature immediately if you are in the testing area.
