Facebook Neighborhoods allows users to interact with other users in the same geographical area. Users can create a separate profile and share limited information on this small social network.
Although this is a new activity for Facebook, social networks are not really a new concept. Nextdoor, founded in 2008, previously confirmed the feasibility of a super social network.

Recently, Matt Navarra, an expert in the field of social media, revealed some screenshots of Facebook Neighborhoods features on Twitter.
In screenshots, there are a number of other features, showing that users will have to grant the position to use the new Facebook addition. The social network giant also mentioned that “location service” will be used to display ads more appropriate.

Navarra also displays the menu to create records where users can share their details such as biography, interests, favorite places in the vicinity, … This record will display with other nearby Facebook users and local people that users have chosen to share information.
One of the above screenshots has confirmed that users will have to comply with Facebook's “community standard” when using Facebook Neighborhoods. This is a useful reminder by the allegations targeting Facebook because of an indifferent reaction to the groups of violence.
In the past, socialist networks such as Nextdoor received many criticisms for many reasons, including racism from users. It will be very interesting to see how Facebook Neighborhoods will dodge this case.
