What if you’re not in that range? The Tile app will show you where the tag was when it was last connected. If that’s not enough, you can report it as “lost” in the app and ask a community of other Tile users to help you find it.
Older Tile models were essentially disposable because the battery couldn’t be replaced, but that’s no longer the case. The Tile Mate uses standard CR1632 lithium batteries that are easily replaceable on their own, and they are very cheap.
The Tile Mate is slightly larger than the Apple AirTag, but it has a key hole, so you don’t need to add any accessories. Unfortunately, Tile Mate is only available in white, but you can still customize it.

Tile is popular, has different products to choose from, and a large user base. However, if for some reason you don’t want to buy Tile, then Chipolo One It’s also another very good choice.
Chipolo One offers all the same features as Tile Mate for the same price. It is round instead of square, but is similar in size and also has eyelets. Chipolo There are more beautiful color options than Tile Mate.
Chipolo advertises a Bluetooth range of up to 200 feet (about 61m) like the Tile Mate, but the actual number will be less. The CR2032 battery is also replaceable and very affordable on Amazon.
A unique benefit you will get with Chipolo One than any other tracking device is alert when you are out of range. You must purchase Premium to get that feature on Tile. I don’t think that’s enough to choose Chipolo One, but it depends on your use case.
All in all, Chipolo One is a pretty good AirTag alternative if using Android. It’s a very good Bluetooth tracker, but it’s hard to beat Tile’s massive user base when you need help.
Samsung Galaxy SmartTag
If you are an Android user using a Samsung Galaxy phone, you may be interested in Samsung’s own Bluetooth tracker. But Galaxy SmartTag not much benefit.
Although they have the same function as AirTag and Tiles, and are priced close to each other, but Galaxy SmartTag very limited. Firstly, they only work with Samsung devices, and not with other Android devices. It also lacks some of the sensors found in Tile.
Unless you get a free Galaxy SmartTag with your Samsung phone, I don’t think you should buy a Tile Mate or Chipolo One.
