Facebook Messenger has updated the feature to send secret messages in gift boxes and create conversation topics. The message content will be wrapped by the sender in a gift box, and the recipient needs to open the gift box to see what the content is. Perhaps this is a pretty cool feature and causes many surprises for recipients. Currently only some accounts have this feature updated, if you still have not created a Messenger gift box, you can try the following ways:

Create a theme for Messenger
Facebook Messenger goes after Zalo a feature that is creating themes and wallpapers for Messenger. Now you can choose the theme and color for each person when chatting with Messenger. Each theme will come with different emoji and you can customize the color of your Chat theme. If you chat with your crush and leave the topic Love, then Crush will probably understand what you mean. Proceed as follows:
Go to the chat screen of the person you want to change the Messenger theme to, then click on Avatar Name of person.
Next choose Theme that you want to change, you can change Emoticon theme defaults.
The themes currently available in Messenger include: Halloween, Love, Colored, Proud…, besides you, you can freely mix colors for your theme.
Go back to the chat frame, you will see the wallpaper, the color has been changed, the Love theme emoji will come with a Heart.

Instructions for sending secret messages in Messenger gift boxes (Update 5/12/2020)
Now Facebook is starting to make widespread use of its message effects feature, including: The secret gift box contains the message content, flaming message with fire effect, Heart effect message.
Procedures are as follows:
On Android, delete the current Messenger app on your phone. Download version Messenger 294.0.0.0.38 alpha and install.
Sign in and follow the step 2, 3, 4 under.
Only for iOS and PC then depending on the new acc is used, not widely available.
Because the way to create a Messenger gift box is only applicable on phones, you need to do it on SmartPhone.
Step 1: Update Messenger to the latest version (IOS | Android)
Step 2: Select a person you want to send a secret message to in the Messenger gift box. Then proceed to compose the message content.
Step 3: Select smiley face next to the texting box
Step 4: Select function Effect and the picture of the gift box below
That’s it, you can wrap the secret message in a gift box and send it. When sending, the contents of the gift box can’t be seen by both the sender and the recipient.
Currently, there are a few ways to guide on iOS, if Messenger doesn’t have a gift box, try roaming Apple ID to Singapore, then delete Messenger and reload it. I have not tried this method, if anyone can do it, please comment below to let everyone know.
