After releasing several Android 12 developer previews over the past few months, Google has finally released the first beta of Android 12 at Google I/O 2021.

The Android 12 Beta comes with a bunch of new features and UI overhaul. In this post, AnonyViet will introduce some of Android 12’s biggest features, upgraded devices, and how you can install Android 12 beta on your phone.
New feature of Android 12 Beta?
The first big change is the new âMaterial Youâ user interface design, which Google introduces as a âcompletely new way of thinking about design.â If you install Android 12 on your phone, you’ll notice new visual changes to the lock screen, quick settings panel, settings menu, and more.
The lock screen now shows a large clock when there are no new notifications. The quick settings panel has been improved and now has large tiles and some new options like Extra Dim that make the screen darker. Now you can press and hold the power button to open Assistant Google Assistant.
Google is also introducing a new privacy management feature to make important permissions easier to manage. The dashboard will have a âTimeline of when apps accessed your camera, microphone, or device locationâ. However, this feature has yet to be announced in beta.
Google also copied some features from iOS 14, as new camera and microphone notifications will appear in the top right corner of the screen when they are in use. In addition, the message âCopied to clipboardâ will appear when your clipboard is accessed.
In addition, Android 12 provides a feature of âlocation sharingâ. near the correctâ gives apps the approximate location of the user instead of providing the exact location.
Also new features on Andorid 12 such as: large icons and headers in Settings page, brand new One-handed mode, improved widget menu and more.

In the near future, more phone companies will participate in the Android 12 project. OnePlus pulled the Android 12 beta update for the time being due to people complaining about their devices crashing after installing the update.
How to install Android 12 beta on your device?
If you own a Pixel device with Android 12 support, you can apply for the program Google beta to get the Android 12 beta install.
On the Beta page, you’ll choose your Pixel phone. Click on it and then select Join Beta. In a few minutes you will get the Android 12 beta OTA on your phone.
If you own a non-Pixel device, go to Android 12 official website, select the manufacturer, and download the installer. Then use the company’s software to update the operating system.
