Square Root in Excel
Since we can’t use the regular keyboard to write square root notation, Excel has converted it to a function we can use: =SQRT()
Example using the SQRT . function
Or we can use 1/2 exponent instead of using the SQRT . function
For the square root of a negative number, the result will return an error (In mathematics, the condition for the square root to have a solution is that the number inside must be greater than or equal to zero)
We can use the ABS function to make negative values according to the following example
Cube root
Since in Excel we don’t have a function for square roots, we will use exponents with 1/3 Please
