The market value of the gaming industry is $ 108 billion in 2017 and reached 128 billion by 2020. 2018 witnessed big names in video games such as PUBG and Fortnite. If you are a programmer and want to make money in the game billions of dollars you need to correct the game programming language. C ++
To be honest, this is a very good game programming language for new friends and game programming. I also learned this language first to get the foundation, taking basic knowledge for programming. You can learn it at the beginning of the C ++ that can help you have a basic knowledge, just programming the game that each arrow hit 2 target is delicious. Engine Support has Unreal Engine, Godot EngineCocos2dx, Cry Engine, Panda 3D. The engines that I mentioned above are good for beginners. It is not very difficult.
C#
C# is an object -oriented language. If this language does not have a basis, it is very difficult for you to jump. If you study C ++, then jump in this child, it is also easy, not very difficult. But if you study it, you will be an arrow that hit 3 targets more than C ++. 1 is to make a web, 2 is to make app, 3 more games are delicious. If using C# as a game programming language, there are the following engines that support it:
- Unity: This child is supported 😀 I have nothing to discuss about its “support”
- Godot: Support is still quite weak
- Cryengine: This is an engine that is built from C ++ and it supports C#, Lua
- Waveengine: This is an engine that is created based on C# allowing you to create a multi -game
Python
This is really an easy game programming language, guys. It is so easy that I have not learned it but only learns the language based on it but can get used to many things, solve maths, …. Easy to flatten. Python is not applied in the game so much most of the game engines are very boring.Python is also highly appreciated on the rankings. With the engine that it supports, there is:
- Godot Engine: Godot, from the table, always supports as C# – Unity. The English engine’s own language uses Python and Lua -Lua -based education. Most of them are Python, Lua occupies quite little. Support 2D & 2.5D & 3D
- Cocos2d Engine: This one is supporting the Godot.
- Panda3d: Referring to this guy on C ++. This one is 3D
- Pygame: This guy is definitely impossible not to mention and then making the game a bit poor but still fine
Javascript
Probably not unable to mention this guy. A web programming language, an extremely flexible language but is used quite a lot in game programming. Then any engine that it supports:
- Game Maker Studio: Certainly can not ignore this guy. The engine that I made the first game and the game Like Sh*T :(. In addition to JavaScript, I also used the additional game Maker Language. Making 2D – 3D game. But 3D support is very poor.
- Gamvas: This one makes the game platform HTML5
- GDEVEP: And 2D, support most of the platforms today.
- Playcanvas: If you have this guy 3D, support like you above.
- RPG Maker: I forgot this guy, make the RPG game okay.
Lua
Great game programming language. I have a really deep impression on this language: VV.Lua is a language used as many VD such as: PC Adobe’s Photoshop Lightroom software, embedded system or the World of World of Warcarft Addons and Angry Birds. Lua is the leading language used in the game.Egine that it supports is quite a lot and delicious:
- Cryengine; This one is both c ++ and is quite delicious, only supports 3D
- Codea: This 2D is only for iOS
- Defold: 2D-3D, multi-platform runs on lua
- Leadwers: 3D, supports Linux and Windows platforms
- Lumberyard: 3D this child supports PS 4, PC, Xbox
- Shiva: This child 3D. Support Windows, PS3, PS4 Xbox 360, Xbox One
