Calculate the correlation coefficient
The correlation coefficient (values ​​from -1 to +1) tells you how related two variables are to each other
A correlation coefficient of +1 indicates a completely positive correlation. As variable X increases, variable Y increases. When variable X decreases, variable Y decreases.
A correlation coefficient of -1 indicates a completely negative correlation. As variable X increases, variable Z decreases. When variable X decreases, variable Z increases.
A correlation coefficient close to 0 indicates no correlation.
1. On the Data tab click Data Analysis.
2. Select Correlation and click OK.
3. For example, select the range A1:C6 as Input Range.
4. Check Labels in the first row.

Result
