Apple has launched a new “iPhone 11 Screen Module Replacement Program,” where some owners can get their iPhone 11 screen replaced for free if they experience touch problems.
How to replace iPhone 11 screen?
According to Apple, no other iPhone models are included in this free replacement program. Presumably, a hardware bug seems to only affect iPhone 11 models. If you’ve noticed slow or unresponsive touch response issues on your iPhone 11, here’s how you can sign up for the program to Free screen replacement.
- Visit the website to replace the screen iPhone 11.
- Enter the serial number (See the serial number in iPhone Settings – General – About – Serial Number).
- If your device is eligible, contact an Apple Authorized Service Provider (Viettel, FPT…) for a free iPhone repair.
- Be sure to back up your device’s contents to iCloud or iTunes on your PC.
AnonyViet tried the serial number of its iPhone 11, however, the website said the device was not eligible for the program.
Apple offers three possible reasons why the iPhone 11 isn’t eligible for the replacement program. It is clear that the device’s serial number is not in the “faulty serial number range”. Another reason could be that the phone has been serviced under the program.
Finally, the iPhone 11 may not be eligible for a free replacement. Apple says affected devices are only eligible for a free screen replacement for two years from the date of your purchase.
