Instructions for installing Discord for Linux

Surely many of you following Anonyviet are using Discord on the browser, right? Then you should download Discord and use it as an app. But for those of you using linux operating system, it is not possible to install 1 click. Then I will guide you how to install Discord on Linux!

What is Discord?

Instructions for installing discord on Linux

Note: Except for Kali linux, all other linux operating systems can install Discord. If you use Kali Linux, you can only use it on the browser!

Using Snap packages

For ubuntu: You go to Software Center to install Discord

For other operating systems: You run the following command:

sudo snap install discord

Snap installation instructions:

sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd

Using Discord’s .deb file

Step 1: Go to Discord app settings page here.

Step 2: Download the file with .deb extension

Step 3: Open Terminal and enter the following command to install Discord

cd Download

sudo apt install ./[tên file cài đặt discord vừa tải về]

Wait for a while and the discord screen will appear
