ZALO To-do aka feature Assign recommended by VNG for those who often work in groups. This helps you manage your work more conveniently, avoid content drifting too far and easily find previous chat content. You will avoid missed work, slow progress or difficult to track the progress of team work.

If you’re a team leader or manager, it’s important to delegate tasks to employees and manage the process. Zalo To-Do helps you to assign work by message on Zalo. Work content will be gathered into a common list for management. This Assignment feature also helps to notify each time a new job has a new update. You will avoid being late to the deadline assigned by your boss or superior.
How to use Zalo To-Do
To use the job assignment feature on Zalo To-Do, you can follow these two methods:
- Method 1: Assign work by sent message. That is, review the old message and choose to assign the job with the content of that message.
- Method 2: Actively compose content to assign tasks to people who need to receive them.
Method 1: Assign work by sent message.
Method 1:
In the chat box you type @job-receiving-name + assignment content. Then click on the . button Assign appears below the sent message.
Method 2:
Hover over the old sent message, you will see a hidden menu appear on the left. You select the icon Assign work to create a task management list.
Method 2: Actively assign work directly

Click on the icon☑ Assign tasks in the toolbar right in the chat window.

Open the task list, select the assignment icon
So you have completed the first step of assignment. Next, you will write down the content of the assigned work:
- Title: you should put it short for easy management
- Content: The work will be delivered to the recipient
- Give: You can assign one or more people the same job content
- Show followers: who will monitor the progress of the work but not perform the work.
- The person receiving the job must be someone who has Zalo friends with you
- Job update statuses will be communicated to job creators, assigns and followers.
- Duration: is the Deadline of the work, you must complete it before the assigned time or choose no time limit
To set a deadline for the task, click on the calendar icon in the deadline section (or click on the words “No deadline”), a date and time selection window will appear for you to choose.
After filling in all the information, just press the . button “Assign”. Thus, the new job has been successfully assigned. In the chat window of the assigned person, the job content will be displayed. You can Comment, remind or See details the content of the assigned work.
