Call or text another phone number
The simplest way is if your Sim has money, make a call or text another phone number. The other end of the line will display your phone number. If someone is near you, or you have two phones, call or text the other number yourself.
Call the Call Center to check your phone number
The operator will help you find the phone number you are calling. This way is also completely free, you can check your phone number is correct provided by the operator.
Each carrier has a different switchboard number, you need to call the exact switchboard of the SIM you are using:
Mobifone switchboard phone number:
- You dial 900 after connecting, continue to press number 4 (toll free) to check your phone number, saving time.
- MobiPhone customer care switchboard: 9090 (the fee per minute is 200 VND/minute for prepaid and postpaid subscribers, free of charge).
VinaPhone switchboard phone number:
- Call 900Press 4 (applies to prepaid subscribers).
- Vinaphone’s customer care center: 9191 or 18001091 (applicable to all subscribers).
Viettel switchboard phone number (toll-free):
- Viettel Customer Support Call Center: 1800 8098 and 198 (meet the support operator).
- Call center for information about products and services: 197 (automatic answer).

- Vietnamobile’s service support hotline: 789
Use code USSD
“USSD” stands for “Unstructured Supplementary Service Data”. Using the USSD code helps high-speed interaction between mobile subscribers and applications through the mobile network system. Simply put, USSD is a two-way interaction of real-time information, it is almost like SMS but is limited to 182 characters.
To view the phone number using the USSD code, you can do the following. Open the phone call mode and on the keyboard execute the following command:
- Mobifone: *0#
- Vinaphone: *110#
- Viettel: *777# or *888# (applicable only to certain subscribers)
- Vietnamobile: *123#
