On an iPhone or iPad, Apple doesn’t let you hide your apps like it does on Android. Probably for security reasons. But we can make apps harder to find. With the instructions below, you can hide sensitive apps installed on your iPhone without anyone seeing it.

You can’t hide apps completely on iPhone
Apple has never offered a hidden app feature on iOS or iPadOS. The only way to hide those apps is… delete them. Of course, I said this in the previous sentence. To delete an application, press and hold the application until the . button “X” appears, and click on it. Like an iPhone manual, right?
I have a few tricks to hide apps without deleting them. These include removing apps from Siri shortcuts and suggestions, disabling features like notifications, and hiding apps in a folder away from the public eye. Trust me, the feeling of borrowing your phone and seeing Tinder is so hard, guys.
Remove apps from search suggestions and Siri
Siri suggestions appear on Sceen Today and Spotlight. If you use search for apps by dragging down from the top edge of the screen to show the search dialog, sometimes the app you want to hide may be suggested. Or it may surface when you search for other apps.
If you use that app more than once, Siri will often suggest it show up in search results. When you press the share button in an app, for example, you’ll often see a list of apps that Siri has learned based on usage.
Many apps allow iOS to access databases and display document files or draft notes. This may be a bit too much when Siri should only search for apps.
Go Settings > Siri and Search and find the app you want to hide in the list of installed apps on your device. Disable all options on this screen to see the feature appear: Show App.
Turn off Show App so that apps don’t show up on search results and suggestions screens. To open an application, you must find its icon on the home screen or in folders.
The app itself Settings does not work under these rules. In Settings, there is always a search bar. There, you can search for installed apps and functions to adjust their preferences. Any apps you try to hide or exclude will always appear here.
Hide apps in folders
If you like convenience but still have to be secretive, you can use this way. Call it just like that. You can create folders on iPhone by tapping and holding an app icon until all the icons on the screen move. Then, touch and hold an app and move it over the other. A folder will appear, you can give it a name and to delete the folder, you need to delete all the applications in it.
A trick is to create a folder with a lot of boring applications like weather, calculator, etc instead of a folder full of games and create lots of pages.
Turn off app notifications
Even though you have done the above, the application notification still continues to display. Go Settings > Notifications and find the app for which you want to turn off notifications. Tap it and disable the “Allow Notifications” feature to prevent the app from showing any notifications on your phone.
You can also hide notifications from the lock screen and turn off their banners. If you leave “Notification Center” active, you will only see app notifications when you check them.
Hide App Store download history
If you delete an app from your iPhone or iPad, the App Store will still keep the app in your download history. Thankfully, Apple isn’t stingy enough to remove the feature altogether.
First, open the App Store, and then tap the “Today” tab. Tap the user icon in the upper right corner, then tap “Purchased”.
Scroll down to find the app you want to tap. After finding the object, we quietly swipe the object to the left and press the “Hide” button, so we have finished removing the evidence.
Once you have hidden it, the application will disappear. If you want to download it again, you have to press “Get” instead of the iCloud download icon like other apps.
Use Dummy App to hide files and notes

Hide apps from Screen Time

Screen Time can hide certain system apps, but not third-party apps. Go Settings > Screen Time, and click on “Content and Privacy Restrictions”. Click on “Allowed Apps”, and then turn off the apps you want to hide.
