Status is also known as status to express your current mood or work in a short time. If you are using Messenger but do not want others to disturb you, you can leave a small message with the content “I am busy” then other people will not actively message you when seeing this Status.
Recently Facebook is testing a Status posting feature called Custom status nice Custom status. You can easily place any content or it is available right below the Avatar in the Messenger application.
How to create Status for Messenger
Because this feature has only been tested on some Facebook accounts, some of you will not see a place to enter Status for Messenger. However, you can try your luck with the following:
- Update Messenger on iOS or Android to the latest version.
- Change the phone’s language to English (if English is available, change it to Vietnamese).
- In my experience, the account that has Facebook Protect enabled first will prioritize using this feature.
- Status feature for Messenger is only supported on the phone application, the Web version cannot write Status yet.
Now, you make changes to the Status for Messenger as follows:
Open the Messenger app, select Avatar yours in the upper left corner.
In the menu, select Custom status.
Here, there will be some Status (status) available of Facebook such as: Busy, Let’s Chat, Sleeping, Call me, Music ….
If you don’t like the available content, you can write your own Status in the box at the bottom of the screen.
In addition, you can choose the time to end the Status by selecting the blue Edit button.
You can choose the number of hours to display or choose the date by clicking the Customize button, at the specified time the Status of Messenger will automatically remove.
And here’s the result: You’ll see Status under Facebook Name in the Messenger window.
You have successfully created Custom Status on Facebook Messenger. This status is not saved, so every time you change to Status it will be lost. If you want to save the Status, then post the article on Facebook in the usual way.
If you still don’t have this feature, wait next week, maybe Facebook will popularize it so that all users can write Status on Messenger.
