Version v1.0 is a Python 3 script for locating text files containing Bitlocker recovery keys.
The only input is the drive or directory to be searched. You just need to provide a hard drive or absolute path to a directory. After searching for related filenames, the tool can perform a string search against the text file contents. All responses will be output to cmd.
BitLocker is a form of encryption to secure information and prevent unauthorized access. After BitLocker encryption, you can still use the encrypted data normally. BitLocker security is tighter than just using a simple password. With BitLocker, you can encrypt data both on your computer’s hard drive or on an external memory device such as a USB stick.
