How to create a free Mail Domain with LarkSuite

Larksuite is now creating Mail domain It’s free and here’s how to create it. Mail domain is a form of Email created with your own domain name, different from Free Mail like Gmail, Yahoo… when creating a Mail Domain you will be an Admin and can create a series of other Emails with your Domain. Usually companies will create their own mail domain to highlight their effective brand. For example: [email protected], [email protected]… As far as I know, except for creating mail domains on supported hosting, only Zoho and Larksuite allow creating free mail domains. However, Zoho got spammed when sending it to Gmail, so I decided to switch to LarkSuite. In this article, I will guide you to configure free Mail Domain using LarkSuite.

What is LarkSuite?

Lark or LarkSuite is a subsidiary of Bytedance – the parent company of Tiktok. Lark Suite is an enterprise collaboration platform developed by ByteDance and launched to the public for the first time in 2019.

Lark Suite, or Lark for short, is similar to other “teamwork” platforms we’ve used before. But the team behind Lark defines it as “a tool to change the way people work”. While it’s an ambitious claim, the team believes they can support it.

On the Lark platform, users have access to Lark versions of Calendar, Docs, Messenger, Meetings, Cloud Storage, Email and other features. While these features are available on other platforms, Lark has many features to stand out from the rest.

To create a mail Domain with LarkSuite, you need create Account on Lark first. Remember to register an account in the form For word Please!

Once you have an account, go to the Admin page as follows: https://www.larksuite.com/admin (If you miss the registration form For personal use Then go to the Admin page, there will be a place to create Create Organization)

At the Admin page, you access the following link > Service Management > Domain Management > Configure now.

Enter the Domain name you want at Email and press Confirm

In the box below there will be 2 options

Enable email and migrate old emails: Create new mail and merge mail in old service (if your domain previously created mail on another site like yandex, zoho….)
Only enable email: create a completely new mail domain.

I will choose Only enable email to avoid minor errors. Below will appear the records, in the DNS Domain management page proceed to point the Records issued by LarkSuite.

Through the Cloudflare DNS management page, because my Domain is pointing to Cloudflare, I will add the granted Records as follows:

After pointing, go back to the Larksuite page and press Verify now, see notification Verification successful then press next

On the next page, click the . button Config now firstly

Now the Member management window will appear, click the Add button to create the first Email Domain for Admin.

Proceed to enter the necessary information related to your company, place Business Mail Remember to enter your email name. When finished, scroll down and click Next.

Next, go back to the Setup Domain page: Mail -> Privacy Compliance -> DKIM Authentication -> Turn On

Choose your DKIM key bit length: 2048 -> next

At this point, there will be a DKIM Record, you proceed to create this Record on the Domain management page, like when Add the Record at Setup Domain. When done, press the Verify button

So I have configured the free Mail Domain using LarkSuite. Next we will create Email Domains for our employees using LarkSuite

Create other Email Domains on Larksuite

After you have configured the Domain to point to Email Larksuite to create a free Mail Domain, now you proceed to create Emails according to your domain for your employees. For example, I will create email [email protected], then proceed as follows:

Access Menu Organization -> Member and Department -> Add Member

Enter the employee name, phone number, email you want to create and Password

Now to log in to your Email to send and receive, you just need to go to the page https://larksuite.com and click Login, then enter your Email.

During the first login, you must Change Password new. At the account management page interface, click onEmail icon to start sending and receiving free mail domain of LarkSuite.
