<p>When there is something urgent, you need to turn off the computer and go out, but the shutdown time is quite long, sometimes more than 5 minutes. Although your computer has a fairly high configuration, it cannot shut down quickly. So apply the instructions below, will help your computer Shutdown faster. These methods apply Shutdown acceleration on Windows 10/8/7.</p>

<h2 id="ftoc-tat-tinh-nang-xoa-page-file-khi-shutdown" class="ftwp-heading">Turn off the feature of deleting Page File on Shutdown</h2>
<p>Windows uses <a target="_blank" href="https://en.anonyviet.com/next-link?url=https%3A%2F%2Fanonyviet.com%2Ftim-hieu-ve-windows-page-file-va-cach-su-dung-hieu-qua%2F" rel="noopener" class="local-link">page file</a> for additional virtual memory. Page file is roughly where data is stored when RAM is full. By default, Windows has a hidden option disabled to delete the page file on shutdown. This will erase everything in the page file, make sure no sensitive data is stored where someone can access it by wiping your computer&#8217;s hard drive and checking your page file. Turning off the Page file deletion feature will help you Shutdown faster.</p>
<p>It may take a few minutes for your computer to delete the page file. Even longer, depending on how much sensitive data you have and the speed of your hard drive. However, you do not need to enable this feature if your hard drive is Bitlocker encrypted. Encryption will prevent an attacker from checking your page file while the computer is turned off.</p>
<p><strong>Warning: </strong>Registry Editor is a powerful tool and overusing it can make your system unstable or even inoperable. This is a pretty simple hack and as long as you follow the instructions. However, make a backup of the Registry before performing the steps below:</p>
<h3 id="ftoc-cach-tat-che-do-xoa-page-file" class="ftwp-heading">How to turn off Page File deletion mode?</h3>
<p>You can check if your computer is deleting the page file by checking the Registry. Press Windows + R, type <strong>“regedit” </strong>and press Enter.</p>
<p>You follow this house number:</p>
<pre class="lang:default decode:true">HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management</pre>
<p>Look in the right frame to see <strong>“ClearPageFileAtShutdown”</strong>. If the data column is set to &#8220;0x00000000 (0)&#8221;, Windows will not delete the Page File on Shutdown. If it is set to “0x00000001 (1)”, Windows will delete the Page File when Shutdown.</p>
<p>If you don&#8217;t see the item <strong>“ClearPageFileAtShutdown” </strong>Windows will not delete the Page File when Shutdown.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-16635 size-full" src="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/1-6.png" alt="How to turn off Page File deletion mode to increase shutdown time faster" width="488" height="251" srcset="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/1-6.png 488w, https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/1-6-300x154.png 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 488px) 100vw, 488px" title="How to fix slow Shutdown on Windows 10/8/7"/></p>
<p>If it is set to 1, you double-click the file and set it to 0. Your shutdown will become much faster.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-16636 size-full" src="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/2-3.png" alt="change value to 0" width="488" height="251" srcset="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/2-3.png 488w, https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/2-3-300x154.png 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 488px) 100vw, 488px" title="How to fix slow Shutdown on Windows 10/8/7"/></p>
<h2 id="ftoc-tat-cac-services-gay-cham-qua-trinh-shutdown" class="ftwp-heading">Turn off Services that slow down the Shutdown process</h2>
<p>Instead of guessing which services are slowing down the shutdown, you can pinpoint them in a few manual ways. Turning off always makes Services not only help shutdown fast, but also make WINdows work faster.</p>
<p>To do this, you will need to use <a target="_blank" href="https://en.anonyviet.com/next-link?url=https%3A%2F%2Fanonyviet.com%2F%3Fs%3DEvent%2BViewer" rel="noopener" class="local-link">Event Viewer</a>. Right-click on the Start menu and select “Event Viewer”. Or press Windows + R, type “eventvwr” in the Run dialog and press Enter.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-16637 size-full" src="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/3-3.png" alt="Turn off Services that slow down the Shutdown process" width="488" height="461" srcset="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/3-3.png 488w, https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/3-3-300x283.png 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 488px) 100vw, 488px" title="How to fix slow Shutdown on Windows 10/8/7"/></p>
<p>You continue to this house number:</p>
<pre class="lang:default decode:true ">Applications And Services Logs\Microsoft\Windows\Diagnostics-Performance\Operational</pre>
<p>Right click <strong>“Operational” </strong>and choose <strong>“F</strong><strong>alter Current Log</strong><strong>“.</strong></p>
<p><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-16638 size-full" src="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/4-3.png" alt="Filter Current Log" width="488" height="359" srcset="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/4-3.png 488w, https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/4-3-300x221.png 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 488px) 100vw, 488px" title="How to fix slow Shutdown on Windows 10/8/7"/></p>
<p>Enter “203” in <strong>“Event IDs” </strong>and click “OK”. The last action will filter the log to only show shutdown events.</p>
<p>A few glances through the list, it should now show “This service caused a delay in the system shutdown process” events. You will see the name of the slow service in the General box. Look through “File Nam” and “Friendly Name”.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-16640 size-full" src="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/6-3.png" alt="Event IDs 203" width="488" height="601" srcset="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/6-3.png 488w, https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/6-3-244x300.png 244w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 488px) 100vw, 488px" title="How to fix slow Shutdown on Windows 10/8/7 17"/></p>
<p>What you see are services that take a long time to shut down. For example, VPN software can take a long time to shut down and can cause feelings of inhibition. If you have installed the software but do not use it often, you should remove the software quickly. Find some similar software and remove it. However, some services are system software, best not to touch them, very dangerous.</p>
<h2 id="ftoc-thay-doi-waittokillservicetimeout-giup-shutdown-nhanh-hon" class="ftwp-heading">Change WaitToKillServiceTimeout to make Shutdown faster</h2>
<p>Windows does not shut down immediately when you click “Shut Down”. Instead, it sends a list of apps and services running in the background. Ask them to save the data before they turn off the phone. For example, notepad is editing but not saved, you will be asked whether to save or not?</p>
<p>By default, Windows will wait 5 seconds when you click “Shut Down” before closing any services and shutting down the computer. However, if all background services are successfully shut down before the 5 seconds have elapsed, the computer will shut down immediately.</p>
<p>So you should reduce the value of 5 seconds to lower for faster Shutdown.</p>
<h3 id="ftoc-chinh-thoi-gian-cho-tat-phan-mem-giup-shutdown-nhanh-hon" class="ftwp-heading">Adjust the software shutdown time to make Shutdown faster</h3>
<p>Press Windows + R, type “regedit” and press Enter. Brothers enter the house number:</p>
<pre class="lang:default decode:true ">HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control</pre>
<p>Look in the right pane for “WaitToKillServiceTimeout”, the value is displayed in milliseconds. For example, if “WaitToKillServiceTimeout” is set to 5000, Windows will wait 5 seconds. And when set to 20000, Windows will wait 20 seconds.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-16658 size-full" src="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/7-3.png" alt="Change WaitToKillServiceTimeout to make Shutdown faster" width="488" height="251" srcset="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/7-3.png 488w, https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/7-3-300x154.png 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 488px) 100vw, 488px" title="How to fix slow Shutdown on Windows 10/8/7"/></p>
<p>We do not recommend setting this value below 5000. Some services may not shut down properly if you do not give it enough time.</p>
<p>However, if an application has increased this value, you can set it back to 5000. Just double click on “WaitToKillServiceTimeout” and enter a value of 5000.</p>
<p>There are many things you can do to turn off your computer faster, but hopefully with these tips, you can improve the situation a bit.</p>
<p>If not yet <a target="_blank" href="https://en.anonyviet.com/next-link?url=https%3A%2F%2Fanonyviet.com%2Ftang-toc-thoi-gian-khoi-dong-va-tat-may-windows-10%2F" rel="noopener" class="local-link">this</a> is the last resort.</p>

<ul>
<li>Some people have problems with the latest Windows 10 update, the patch <strong>KB4549951</strong>.</li>
<li>Some others failed to install the update and lost the Bluetooth and Wifi connection for others. Slow Wifi connection error appears in many laptops and wifi usb.</li>
<li>This issue seems to affect a small number of systems at this time.</li>
</ul>
<p>However, the Windows 10 update is causing a few problems for everyone, although the problems seem to affect only a relatively small number of systems (via the latest update). Windows 10 KB4549951 fails to install on some systems and loses bluetooth and Wifi connections of others. In addition, they also found their system significantly slowed down since the update or had a blue screen error.</p>
<p>People with the error have posted to .&#8217;s forum <a target="_blank" href="https://en.anonyviet.com/next-link/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fanswers.microsoft.com%2Fen-us%2Fwindows%2Fforum%2Fall%2Fwindows-10-update-kb4549951-will-not-install-error%2F5ea2543a-d567-4ef0-88b3-46ddd4f6a541%3Fauth%3D1" rel="noopener external nofollow" class="ext-link" onclick="this.target='_blank';">Microsoft</a> and <a target="_blank" href="https://en.anonyviet.com/next-link/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.reddit.com%2Fr%2FWindows10%2Fcomments%2Fg2hpoy%2Fmajor_issue_with_kb4549951_update%2F" rel="noopener external nofollow" class="ext-link" onclick="this.target='_blank';">Reddit</a> to report this issue of the update. <p>You can also remove right-click menu items directly using the Windows Registry. However, this process is quite slow and requires many steps, so I will show you a faster way.</p>
<p><a target="_blank" href="https://en.anonyviet.com/next-link/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nirsoft.net%2Futils%2Fshexview.html" rel="noopener noreferrer external nofollow" class="ext-link" onclick="this.target='_blank';"><strong>ShellExView</strong></a> is one of the great utilities of <a target="_blank" href="https://en.anonyviet.com/next-link?url=https%3A%2F%2Fanonyviet.com%2F%3Fs%3DNirSoft" rel="noopener" class="local-link">NirSoft</a>. It can run on Windows 10 and earlier versions of Windows. First, download ShellExView and launch it.</p>
<p>You will see a long list of extensions in Windows. A lot of them are created by Microsoft and come with this operating system. Those won&#8217;t slow down your system. So hide all Microsoft utilities by tapping <strong>Options > Hide All Microsoft Extensions</strong>.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-21244 size-full" src="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/50.png" alt="ShellExView right-click menu" width="488" height="269" srcset="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/50.png 488w, https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/50-300x165.png 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 488px) 100vw, 488px" title="How to fix slow right-click menu item on Windows 13"/></p>
<p>Now the list is only for the third-party add-ons that you have installed. Examples include utilities from 7-Zip, Notepad++, NVIDIA, Dropbox, Google Drive, Malwarebytes and Paint.NET.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-21246 size-full" src="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/51.png" alt="list of software integrated into the right-click menu" width="488" height="256" srcset="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/51.png 488w, https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/51-300x157.png 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 488px) 100vw, 488px" title="How to fix slow right-click menu item on Windows 14"/></p>
<p>Would you like to find out which shell utilities are causing the problem? This is also a bit of a hassle, you have to disable one or more shell utilities, then restart Explorer and see if the problem is fixed.</p>
<p><strong>Eg:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Disable all third-party extensions and add them one by one until the problem appears.</li>
<li>Turn off each extension until the problem is fixed.</li>
<li>Turn off group extensions. For example, disable half of the extension, if the problem is fixed then continue to turn off half of the last half, continue until the faulty extension is found. This is the fastest method.</li>
</ul>
<p>First, select the extensions you want to disable. You can click each one, or press <strong>Ctrl + A</strong> or also have an entry card <strong>Edit > Select All</strong> to select all, press and hold the . key <strong>Shift</strong> to select all widgets after the selected one, press and hold <strong>Ctrl</strong> to select each widget consecutively.</p>
<p>To disable one or more selected shell utilities, right-click them and select <strong>“Disable Selected Items” </strong>or press <strong>File > Disable Selected Items</strong>. To turn it back on, just press <strong>“Enable Selected Items”</strong>.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-21247 size-full" src="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/52.png" alt="Enable Selected Items" width="488" height="256" srcset="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/52.png 488w, https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/52-300x157.png 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 488px) 100vw, 488px" title="How to fix slow right-click menu item on Windows 15"/></p>
<p>Utilities that have been disabled will show the word <strong>“Yes” </strong>in the Disabled column.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" width="488" height="256" class="size-full wp-image-21248 aligncenter" src="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/53.png" alt="How to fix slow right-click menu item on Windows 4" srcset="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/53.png 488w, https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/53-300x157.png 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 488px) 100vw, 488px" title="How to fix slow right-click menu item on Windows 16"/></p>
<p>You need<strong> restart the computer</strong> for the above configuration to take effect. You will see this option in the Options menu of ShellExView, but I recommend you do not do so because it will cause Explorer and taskbar to reload continuously, you have to log out or restart the machine to stop this error. .</p>
<p>Instead, I recommend using <strong>Task Manager</strong>. To open Task Manager, simply press<strong> Ctrl + Shift + Esc</strong> or right click <strong>taskbar</strong> and select “Task manager”.<img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-21249 size-full" src="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/54.png" alt="open task manager" width="488" height="155" srcset="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/54.png 488w, https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/54-300x95.png 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 488px) 100vw, 488px" title="How to fix slow right-click menu item on Windows 17"/></p>
<p>Find and click on Windows Explorer, then click “Restart”.<img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-21250 size-full" src="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/55.png" alt="task manager" width="488" height="351" srcset="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/55.png 488w, https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/55-300x216.png 300w, https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/55-120x86.png 120w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 488px) 100vw, 488px" title="How to fix slow right-click menu item on Windows 18"/></p>
<p>Explorer will restart. Now, try to open the right mouse button to see if the error appears again. If it&#8217;s still slow, turn off the enabled extensions, if it&#8217;s faster, turn on the disabled widgets.</p>
<h2 id="ftoc-lap-lai-cho-den-khi-nao-ban-giai-quyet-duoc-van-de" class="ftwp-heading">Repeat until you solve the problem</h2>
<p>Repeat this process until you determine which extension is causing the error. By checking your right-click menu every time you turn off or turn on an extension, remembering to restart Windows Explorer, you will determine which utility is failing quickly.</p>
<p>Turn off any extensions you don&#8217;t want to use. Don&#8217;t worry, you can always turn them back on in the future. If it doesn&#8217;t solve the problem, try applying the methods <a target="_blank" href="https://en.anonyviet.com/next-link?url=https%3A%2F%2Fanonyviet.com%2F%3Fs%3Dt%25C4%2583ng%2Bt%25E1%25BB%2591c%2Bwindows" rel="noopener noreferrer" class="local-link">speed up windows</a> that anonyviet instructed.</p>

<h3 id="ftoc-1-co-qua-nhieu-thiet-bi-iot-trong-nha-internet-of-things" class="TnITTtw-tpart TnITTtw-t ftwp-heading">1. Too many IoT devices in the home (Internet of Things)</h3>
<div class="TnITTtw-mv-translit TnITTtw-translation-translit TnITTtw-t"><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-28277 size-full" src="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/376.jpg" alt="There are too many IoT devices in the house" width="503" height="283" srcset="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/376.jpg 503w, https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/376-300x169.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 503px) 100vw, 503px" title="9 problems that can slow down your home WiFi network 15"/></div>
<p>Cameras, Google Home Minis, smart bulbs, smart plugs… our homes are increasingly flooded with Internet of Things devices, each of which connects to a WiFi network and uses a separate IP address. .</p>
<p>The average smart bulb won&#8217;t send or receive large amounts of data, and older routers simply weren&#8217;t designed to handle multiple Wi-Fi devices at once. After a certain time, many IoT devices will slow down your Wifi network.</p>
<p><strong>Solution:</strong> If your router is too old, upgrade to a newer generation. I recommend that you buy a router with MU-MIMO technology. In simple terms, this is a technology that allows many devices to connect at the same time, many here can be up to 128 devices.</p>
<p>If you are planning to decorate your home with smart sensors, use Z-Wave if possible. It works on a different frequency than the WiFi network so it won&#8217;t cause interference.</p>
<h3 id="ftoc-2-pham-vi-mang-khong-day-va-kha-nang-tham-nhap-tin-hieu" class="ftwp-heading">2. Wireless network range and signal penetration</h3>
<div class="jeg_video_container jeg_video_content"><iframe loading="lazy" title="Wi-Fi Router Coverage | Choosing Best Location | Optimization" width="500" height="281" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/KF0Zk19wVRY?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>
<p>Where you place your Wi-Fi router is also the most important factor affecting the speed of your home WiFi network.</p>
<p>Wi-Fi routers transmit both 2.4Ghz (commonly known as b/g/n) and 5Ghz (ac) signals. Faster 5GHz network. So why don&#8217;t you just disable the 2.4GHz network? Simply because the 2.4GHz signal can penetrate walls and other objects more easily. Thick concrete floors or walls will completely block the 5Ghz network.</p>
<p>You don&#8217;t need to worry about this difference, just understand that wireless speed is affected by objects like walls, so the more stuff there is between your device and your router, the slower your network will be. .</p>
<p>Sometimes you can&#8217;t move the router due to network wires or walls. In this case, if possible, use an in-wall LAN cable to connect to another router.</p>
<h3 id="ftoc-3-co-qua-nhieu-nguoi-dung" class="ftwp-heading">3. Too many users</h3>
<p><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-28278 size-full" src="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/377.png" alt="There are too many Wifi users" width="503" height="257" srcset="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/377.png 503w, https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/377-300x153.png 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 503px) 100vw, 503px" title="9 problems that can slow down your home WiFi network 16"/></p>
<p>I know that your Wifi network is also shared with many other people, like your neighbor or the sister next door.</p>
<p>In addition to the obvious things like computers, phones and tablets, you will also connect smart TVs, smart lights, windows, stuff, all of which can send or receive information. .</p>
<p>You might be surfing the web on your tablet, while Xbox is loading the latest DLC, and Windows is updating.</p>
<p>All of these activities consume some of your bandwidth. And even when you&#8217;re not on the network: updates can still happen silently in the background.</p>
<p><strong>Solution:</strong> If there&#8217;s a particular app or activity that you want to make sure it&#8217;s always performing at its best, turn on Quality of Service. This setting in the router will limit a certain amount of bandwidth to a particular device or a particular activity.</p>
<h3 id="ftoc-4-cap-mang-cu" class="ftwp-heading">4. Old network cable</h3>
<p><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-28285 size-full" src="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/378.jpg" alt="Old network cable" width="180" height="100" title="9 problems that can slow down your home WiFi network 17"/></p>
<p>If your computer is plugged directly into the router or if you have Ethernet cabling in your home, you should check the cables.</p>
<p>While cabling can last for 50 years or more, network cabling has undergone some significant upgrades that will affect data transfer speeds.</p>
<p>The easiest way to check is to look at the cables. You should see the Cat specs somewhere:</p>
<ul>
<li>Cat-5 is the slowest and oldest network cable still in use. Speed is limited to 100 Mbps.</li>
<li>Cat-5e is the most commonly used network cable today, supporting Gigabit Ethernet (1,000 Mbps).</li>
<li>Cat-6/6a is a commonly used very fast network cable and supports up to 10 Gigabit (10,000 Mbs).</li>
</ul>
<p>If you are using a Cat-5 network cable, your Ethernet cable may slow down the WiFi network. Network cables can also be quite flimsy. Use a cable tester to make sure the eight wires inside the cable are still connected to the other end.</p>
<p><strong>Solution:</strong> Replace any damaged or damaged Cat-5 network cables you find with a Cat-5e or Cat-6 network cable.</p>
<h3 id="ftoc-5-ban-dang-su-dung-powerline-hoac-wi-fi-extender" class="ftwp-heading">5. Are you using Powerline or Wi-Fi Extender</h3>
<p><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-28279 size-full" src="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/379.jpg" alt="Are you using Powerline or Wi-Fi Extender" width="670" height="447" srcset="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/379.jpg 670w, https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/379-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 670px) 100vw, 670px" title="9 problems that can slow down your home WiFi network 18"/></p>
<p>Many people think that the easiest solution to fix Wi-Fi problems is to buy an extender router. Some people even use Powerline technology adapters that allow you to send network signals through a power outlet.</p>
<p>But in my experience, these devices don&#8217;t solve the root of the problem and often just make things worse.</p>
<p><strong>Solution:</strong> If you have a large home and your WiFi network can&#8217;t be covered everywhere, consider a Wi-Fi Mesh system.</p>
<h3 id="ftoc-6-kenh-wi-fi-bi-nghen" class="ftwp-heading">6. Congested Wi-Fi Channel</h3>
<p><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-28280 size-full" src="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/380.jpg" alt="Wi-Fi channel is congested" width="670" height="336" srcset="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/380.jpg 670w, https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/380-300x150.jpg 300w, https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/380-360x180.jpg 360w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 670px) 100vw, 670px" title="9 problems that can slow down your home WiFi network 19"/></p>
<p>For those in urban areas, apartment complexes specifically, you may be surrounded by hundreds of different WiFi networks. Unfortunately, they all take up some of the available frequency bandwidth.</p>
<p><strong>Solution:</strong> You can change the Wifi channel, but anyway, modern routers are smart enough to choose the best channel. You can also plug in a LAN cable for the fastest speeds.</p>
<h3 id="ftoc-7-may-chu-dns-cua-isp-bi-cham" class="ftwp-heading">7. ISP&#8217;s DNS server is slow</h3>
<p><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-28281 size-full" src="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/381.png" alt="ISP's DNS server is slow" width="670" height="599" srcset="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/381.png 670w, https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/381-300x268.png 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 670px) 100vw, 670px" title="9 problems that can slow down your home WiFi network by 20"/></p>
<p>No matter what internet plan you&#8217;re paying for, they all use the domain name system (DNS). DNS is used every time you type a web address into your browser: it&#8217;s like a directory that stores the web site and the actual IP of the server. By default, you are using the DNS server provided by your ISP, but it is frequently slow and unreliable.</p>
<p><strong>Solution:</strong> You can change your DNS server to achieve faster speed and it is also better for your privacy.</p>
<h3 id="ftoc-8-do-isp-bop-bang-thong" class="ftwp-heading">8. Because ISP squeezes bandwidth</h3>
<p><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-28282 size-full" src="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/382.jpg" alt="Because ISP squeezes bandwidth" width="503" height="285" srcset="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/382.jpg 503w, https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/382-300x170.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 503px) 100vw, 503px" title="9 problems that can slow down your home WiFi network 21"/></p>
<p>This is unlikely unless you&#8217;re a heavy user, but many ISPs will intentionally slow down your internet if it detects you&#8217;re using file-sharing apps or when you&#8217;ve reached a certain capacity.</p>
<p>You should know what your usual internet speed is and check it regularly. If you see a significant drop in speed and no errors are reported by your ISP, you may be squeezing that bandwidth by your carrier.</p>
<p><strong>Solution:</strong> If you are being squeezed by your network operator, I think the best way is to change to a new carrier. You can also restrict your activity or use a premium network plan. If you&#8217;re experiencing bandwidth squeeze because your carrier has found you&#8217;re using file-sharing apps, use a VPN to hide your internet activity.</p>
<h3 id="ftoc-9-thiet-bi-co-van-de" class="ftwp-heading">9. Problematic device</h3>
<p><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-28283 size-full" src="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/383.jpg" alt="The device has a problem" width="503" height="359" srcset="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/383.jpg 503w, https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/383-300x214.jpg 300w, https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/383-120x86.jpg 120w, https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/383-350x250.jpg 350w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 503px) 100vw, 503px" title="9 problems that can slow down your home WiFi network 22"/></p>
<p>If you regularly disconnect from the network after a certain period of time, it is very likely that your computer is faulty, or another device is taking up your bandwidth.</p>
<p>Solution: Restart the device and find out what caused your machine to fail.</p>

<h2 id="ftoc-6-nguyen-nhan-lam-wifi-nha-ban-bi-cham" class="ftwp-heading">6 reasons why your home wifi is slow</h2>
<h3 id="ftoc-danh-gia-mang-chung-cua-ban" class="ftwp-heading">Rate your general network</h3>
<p>Before we dive into the reasons why your Wi-Fi is slower than expected, let&#8217;s learn a few things you can do to make your Wi-Fi speed better.</p>
<p><strong>First,</strong> Don&#8217;t rely on your phone (or laptop using Wi-Fi) to test your wifi speed. Phone test does not give accurate results to test internet connection speed. Instead, use a computer with a network cable connection to the Wifi/Internet Router to check.</p>
<p><strong>Second,</strong> Wi-Fi speed is not the same as advertised. Don&#8217;t believe the carrier&#8217;s advertising, the actual Wifi speed and the advertised one are completely different.</p>
<p><strong>Tuesday</strong>You can&#8217;t make a faster 5Mbps network connection with expensive Wi-Fi equipment, and even with the latest Wi-Fi hardware, a low plan plan won&#8217;t make Wifi faster.</p>
<p><strong>Wednesday,</strong> Vietnam&#8217;s network is very often broken, ask the people around to see if the network is slow like your home? Then continue to check the 6 content below.</p>
<h3 id="ftoc-router-wi-fi-da-cu" class="ftwp-heading">Old Wi-Fi Router</h3>
<p>Everyone hates spending money and it&#8217;s annoying to have to buy something new, even though it&#8217;s underperforming. But the reality is that Wi-Fi hardware has evolved quite steadily over the years.</p>
<p>If you are still using the old router you bought a while ago <strong>ten years</strong> or the Wi-Fi router is integrated in the modem that the carrier provides you, the Wifi speed will not be as stable as the Wifi purchased from the 3rd party. Moreover, although some of the tips below may help you. if you have an old Wi-Fi router, but there&#8217;s really nothing like buying a new router. This is <a target="_blank" href="https://en.anonyviet.com/next-link?url=https%3A%2F%2Fanonyviet.com%2Ftop-5-router-wifi-gia-re-phu-hop-cho-gia-dinh%2F" class="local-link" rel="noopener">TOP Wifi Routers priced under 500K CZK</a> currently popular in Vietnam.</p>
<p>Especially for those with new hardware – newer phones, new smart TVs, etc., it is advisable to upgrade the router because pairing newer devices with older hardware is reducing their performance.</p>
<h3 id="ftoc-dat-router-wifi-sai-vi-tri-trong-nha" class="ftwp-heading">Put the Wifi Router in the wrong place in the house</h3>
<p>A serious mistake that many people make is placing the Wifi Router in a hidden location, many obstacles make the Wifi wave unable to cover your house, and if you use an old and poor-quality router, it will make the Wifi speed worse. significantly reduced.</p>
<p>If you want strong Wi-Fi where you actually use your Wi-Fi devices — like the living room and bedroom — then you shouldn&#8217;t have your Wi-Fi router in the kitchen or upstairs.</p>
<p>Changing the location of the Wi-Fi router is the easiest fix. Just make sure to place it where the signal is most concentrated for your day-to-day activities and avoid placing it near things that block Wi-Fi. Refer to the picture below, you will see that the Wifi signal has improved a lot.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-43527" src="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/vi-tri-dat-router-wifi.jpg" alt="Wi-Fi router" width="665" height="349" srcset="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/vi-tri-dat-router-wifi.jpg 665w, https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/vi-tri-dat-router-wifi-300x157.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 665px) 100vw, 665px" title="6 reasons why your home WiFi is slow"/></p>
<h3 id="ftoc-vuot-qua-so-luong-thiet-bi-ket-noi" class="ftwp-heading">Exceeded the number of connected devices</h3>
<p>One of the biggest advantages of buying a new Wifi device is that it helps to increase the load capacity of many devices when connected at the same time. The Wifi Routers provided by the network operator can only meet about 10-15 devices at the same time. If your home has 4 people using laptops, phones, smart TVs, etc. then you should buy a better router to increase speed and load capacity when connecting to the network.</p>
<p>I want to emphasize that it is <strong>the number of devices, not the number of users</strong> that you want to focus on. There are more and more devices, even when they are not in use.</p>
<p>Security cameras use a lot of bandwidth, as do many other smart home devices. You will be surprised to have bandwidth-sucking devices around your house. All the devices that use that bandwidth also typically use your home Wi-Fi.</p>
<p>Add up all the computers, tablets, phones, streaming devices, smart TVs, smart home devices etc found in a modern home, it can exceed the processing capacity of old routers.</p>
<p>I recommend that you remove unnecessary devices from the WIFI connection, which means that any device that can use a LAN cable should use a wire such as a camera, TV, etc.</p>
<h3 id="ftoc-chon-sai-switch-cap-mang" class="ftwp-heading">Choose the wrong switch, network cable</h3>
<p>Some notes when you use Internet packages <strong>over 100Mbps</strong>then you must choose a Switch that supports 1Gbps or more ports.</p>
<p>If you use an outdated Cat5 cable or a 10/100 Switch, your Internet speed will only stop at 100Mbps.</p>
<p>For networks with less than 100Mbps of bandwidth, you may never notice a difference but if you have more bandwidth, those old cables and hardware will reduce your top speed.</p>
<p>To avoid this, check the physical network cables to make sure they are at least Cat5E or better Cat6 (<a target="_blank" href="https://en.anonyviet.com/next-link?url=https%3A%2F%2Fanonyviet.com%2Fhuong-dan-chon-dung-cap-mang%2F" class="local-link" rel="noopener">see how to choose the right network cable</a>). And if you&#8217;re using a Switch, upgrade from 10/100 to a 10/100/1000 gigabit switch.</p>
<h3 id="ftoc-tac-nghen-kenh" class="ftwp-heading">Channel congestion</h3>
<p>Wi-Fi channel congestion occurs when multiple Wi-Fi devices are using the same frequency or channel in the same space.</p>
<p>If your neighbors have their Wi-Fi router configured similarly to yours that leads to the possibility of channel/channel conflict. Therefore you should <a target="_blank" href="https://en.anonyviet.com/next-link?url=https%3A%2F%2Fanonyviet.com%2Fwifi-cua-ban-se-manh-hon-neu-chon-dung-channel%2F" class="local-link" rel="noopener">Configure carrier Wifi in another channel</a> to avoid interference.</p>
<p>The problem of channel congestion occurs in the 2.4Ghz band rather than the 5Ghz band. You will need to determine which channels are most congested and change that to less congested channels.</p>
<h3 id="ftoc-bo-mo-rong-wi-fi-tang-pham-vi-song-nhung-giam-toc-do-mang" class="ftwp-heading">Wi-Fi extender increases range but reduces network speed</h3>
<p>If the carrier&#8217;s Wifi wave is not wide enough to cover the rooms, usually you will use a Wifi extender (Wifi Repeater), but one thing you don&#8217;t know is that the Wifi wave passing through the Repeater will take 1/3 &#8211; 1 /2 speed. Therefore, although the wave is transmitted farther, the speed will be slower.</p>
<p>Instead, you should use a LAN wire to connect to the secondary Wifi Router, then the speed will be more stable.</p>
<p>In addition, you can also see 24 more ways to speed up wifi <a target="_blank" href="https://en.anonyviet.com/next-link?url=https%3A%2F%2Fanonyviet.com%2F24-cach-de-tang-toc-do-wifi-ket-noi-internet%2F" class="local-link" rel="noopener">here</a>.</p>

<p><strong>On this morning of December 26, 2022, the APG submarine cable route continued to have problems. Meanwhile, two submarine cable routes that had problems before, AAG and AAE-1, have not been fixed yet.</strong></p>
<p>Asia Pacific Gateway (APG), Asia America Gateway (AAG) and AAE-1 (Asia – Africa – Euro 1) are 3 out of 5 international undersea fiber optic cable routes that account for most of the Internet connection capacity from Vietnam to international. , along with 2 other routes including SMW3 (also known as SEA – ME – WE3) and Lien A (IA – Intra Asia).</p>
<p><img post-id="69" fifu-featured="1" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-44555" src="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/dut-cap-apg-26-12-2022.jpg" alt="The APG cable had a problem again causing the Internet to slow down on the morning of December 26, 2022" title="The APG cable had a problem again causing the Internet to slow down on the morning of December 26, 2022" width="635" height="368" srcset="https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/dut-cap-apg-26-12-2022.jpg 635w, https://anonyviet.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/dut-cap-apg-26-12-2022-300x174.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 635px) 100vw, 635px" title="The APG cable had a problem again causing the Internet to be slow on the morning of December 26, 2022 4"/></p>
<p>This is the 4th time in 2022, the APG cable route is in April, July and September and December respectively. The most recent problem in mid-September 2022 on the S9 branch connecting to Singapore was repaired on 14/05. 11. This time APG crashes on the S6 segment near HongKong (China). Currently, users in Vietnam have not been informed by the network operator as well as the cable management units about the cause as well as the plan to handle and fix this problem.</p>
<p>The APG undersea fiber optic cable route is invested by 4 Vietnamese carriers including VNPT, Viettel, FPT Telecom, and CMC Telecom and is considered as a cable line that contributes to bringing a stable transmission line with a larger capacity for Internet users in Vietnam. Vietnam.</p>
<p>The APG cable has been officially put into operation since mid-December 2016. With a length of about 10,400 km, APG is located underground in the Pacific Ocean, with the ability to provide a maximum bandwidth of up to 54 Tbps. This cable route has connection points in China, Hong Kong (China), Taiwan (China), Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.</p>
<p>With APG continuing to have problems, at the moment, there are 3 undersea cable lines with the same fault. Specifically, in addition to the error on the APG route, there are two other undersea cable routes, AAG and AAE-1, that have had problems before and have not been fixed yet.</p>
