These days, when you turn around the big Fanpage, you will see some Comments with hard Fan badges, Stars, sharers … on the account name. These are called Top Fan badges, applied by Facebook to Pages that specialize in Video.

This badge is for people who have Liked the page and are active on the Page. If you are a Page owner about sharing Video or Streamer, turn on this feature. You will find out who your regular Fan is.

By default, the Page will not have the Badge feature available, and the Commenters do not automatically get the Badge. The guide below will help you Enable Hard Fan Badge on Page and how to get Hard Fan Badge when Commenting.

Enable Badge mode on Facebook Page

This will be done by the Admin of the Page. Only Pages that enable Badge function will that Page member have a Hard Fan badge.

The Hard Fan badge is given to Pages that share Video content. But any site can enable Badge mode for members, as long as the following conditions are met:

• Have more than 10,000 Like the page or follow.
• Active for at least 28 days.
• Switch page to topic Video Templates

Step 1: Convert Page to Video Template

1. Go to your Page, select the Settings menu.
2. On the left menu bar, select Templates and tabs.
3. In the Templates section, click Edit.
4. Select the Video Page template.

Step 2: Turn on Top Fan Badges

Next, go to the Settings Menu, select Facebook Badges. In the right pane Enable Hard Fan Badge

As such, your Page can show Badge to members who actively interact on your Page.

Anyone can get the Hard Fan Badge if they are active on the page. The activities that earn points to get the badge are: watching videos, liking or dropping feelings for videos, commenting, sharing videos. Those who qualify, will have a badge next to their name. The list of hardcore fans is also publicly displayed in the Community tab.

You need to do the following additional steps to be eligible for the badge:

Step 1: Like Page

Step 2: Select Following (Following) in there:

• In your feed: See first.
• Notifications: On (Featured Posts)

Step 3: Like, comment, actively share the videos on Page

Within 1 week, if your activity is regular on the Page, you will have Hard fan next to my name. This is the result of frequent interactions on the Page. To get the fastest hard fan badge, please like, comment, share as soon as a Video has been posted on the Page or streamer has just gone live.

Meaning of some badges:

• Hard fan: is a regular member Like, comment, share videos on Page.
• Starred person: is the member who just sent you SAO (money) in that video.
• Sharers: who likes to share videos on Page.

How to show Hard Fan badge without interaction
